2015 Dodge Grand Caravan O2 and Fuel Trim data - help interpreting was created by DrewZod
I am looking at my daughter's 2015 Grand Caravan (3.6L V6) with P219B code (Bank 2 air/fuel imbalance), and the O2 and FT data is as follows... I'm learning about O2 sensor and Fuel Trim values and implications, but this has me confused. Any help as to the situation it is indicating?
- Drew
SHRT FT 1: -4.70%
LONG FT 1: -0.80%
SHRT FT 2: -9.40%
LONG FT 2: 9.40%
O2 S 1 1: 0.565V
SHRT FT 1 1: -3.90%
O2 S 1 2: 0.745V
SHRT FT 1 2: 99.20%
O2 S 2 1: 0.015V
SHRT FT 2 1: -1.60%
O2 S 2 2: 0.115V
SHRT FT 2 2: 99.20%

To take a random sample of fuel trim and oxygen sensor data isn't very telling. They need to be observed dynamically under different load conditions. More specific, you need to check under the conditions that the code set. This is where the freeze frame dat will help you determine when the computer sees this imbalance. At the time you took these data points, fuel trim is perfect. B1 is making almost no corrections and B2 LTFT & STFT combined is zero.
Ill move your post to the repair question section where more people will see it.

Agree with Noah, it's somewhat tough to judge O2 performance with a snapshot of data. Graphing the same data will allow you to see signal range, switch rate and rich/lean bias (if any).
The fuel trim values themselves are excellent and don't necessarily suggest anything by themselves. Unfortunately, with the 3.6L using a speed density system, fuel trim isn't quite as informative as it would be on a MAF system.
Speaking of trim, I'd only pay attention to SHRT FT 1/2 and LONG FT 1/2 values. The SHRT FT X X are a holdover from older OBD standards and not really what you want to be looking at for diagnostic purposes.
As for your P219B code, I'd suggest not treating it like an O2/fuel trim code, and more like a misfire code. That's not to say an O2 can't cause this code, because it can. But there's lots of ways for 3.6's to have misfire problems, which is closer to what P219B is describing. From service info:
If you haven't cleared the codes already, I'd suggest looking at Mode $06 misfire counts. There may not be any, but if there are, the could give you a better diagnostic direction.

- The Powertrain Control Module detects that one of the cylinders on bank 2 has an air/fuel ratio imbalance of 15% when compared to the other cylinders on the same cylinder bank.

Thank you both!
Yes, at that time, the EWMA Misfire Count screens showed, for cylinder 2, Min of 7cnt and Max of 0cnt, and for cylinder 6, Min of 4cnt and Max of 0cnt. Other cylinders were 0 and 0.

adding graph data, not sure yet how best to provide images...
first graph is at Idle, second is while running ~1500rpm, third is releasing the accelerator and going back to idle.
