I have an 07 envoy. My question is would you reuse the crush sleeve on a rear diff.?  Outboard bearing failed, so just replacing the one bearing only. Worth the risk!

I wouldn't re-use a crush sleeve, if I didn't have to.  But, as long as the pre-load is correct, I don't think anything bad would happen if you did.

Ya thanks. Just what I was thinking. Need one is a week away and need the car. I have installed it and manage the get the rotation torque so going to let it go for now and see what happens. Worst thing happens it come loose and the bearings go again, assuming I stop before gear set get damaged.
