Corvette didn't pass emissions was created by gnx547
I took my 96 for emissions test today and surprised that it didn't pass. The drive cycle monitor for catalytic converter and heated 02 sensor didn't complete. This is my first time this year driving the Vette and I drove about 25 mins to the emission test facility and I thought the drive cycles would have been completed? Do I need to drive it longer? There are no codes and I haven't had this issue before the last time I look the emission test 2 years ago. Any suggestions?

I don't know how your state handles emissions testing. Some time ago I remember cars only needing to pass emissions every other year, maybe that's you didn't catch any trouble last year?
Of course, if the battery were disconnected or discharged in storage, naturally the monitors would need to be run again, so to answer your question, yes. Drive it more.

I don't know. In Massachusetts where I live and work, you can have any one incomplete monitor and pass. Also anything fifteen years or older is emissions exempt...
You can ask the inspection station if it will pass like that, or keep driving it until that monitor completes.
