MX 13 Fuel Shutoff Valve Fault was created by LLundahl
Question regarding the circuit response to an open gnd wire in a 2-wire PWM fuel shutoff valve. While I have located a fault in the harness, I'm curious if anyone knows what the fault code response of a typical ECM would be for on open gnd wire in said circuit. The current fault code I'm troubleshooting is for the fuel shutoff valve - short to supply. That being said, this particular truck was the victim of an electrical fire a month ago. Another shop replaced several harnesses and the pdc. I'm trying to confirm that the open gnd wire would set a short to supply fault. Otherwise I may be looking at a suspect ECM.
