P0480; Fan Control Circuit 1 Open.
1 Fuses and Relays are good
2 Power to pin 30 relay load, and pin 85 relay control.
3 High speed fan works.
What ground(s) pin 86 in the TIPM? I hope I worded that right. There is some sort of self check at start up. About 2 min in the fan will turn on high and the check engine light comes on. I can clear the light and it will repeat. I can turn on low fan by pushing the load side of the relay(Pin 30 to 87). I believe this also lets me know the resistor is good. So I feel this tells me there is something not working in the TIPM, or what ever it needs to command ground. Fan does not come on when I turn the a/c on. The a/c clutch does engage and work.
