2011 Nissan Pathfinder V6 Cranks but won't start. Occasional small backfire when trying to start. Showing code P0300. The week before Xmas my Ex wife basically stole it in middle of the night. I get it back after a week or less. As soon as ali start it, I immediately notice a huge difference in how rough it's running, it's also running on fumes so I stop put 10 in to get home. Didn't leave again til next day, this time it struggles to start/stay idiling with a crazy knocking sound. Shut it off pop the hood and find the cap/funnel for wiper fluid in the fan! Never got it started that day, the next day try again. This time it starts, but idles like shit, but levels out after a minute. I drive maybe 20 miles round trip, get home turn it off hasn't started since. For about 8 months the key was stuck in the ignition, wouldn't come out( how my ex was able to steal it in middle of the night). So I decided it was coming out that day. Now I'm no mechanic but am pretty good at just figuring shit out, so my terminology may be off here. Anyway I'm under the dash and notice where a piece, on bottom of ignition cylinder, just clips into place( possibly the ignition lock). So I take it out and am finally able to turn the key all the way off and get it out of the ignition. Would that have triggered something to not let it start?
