unintended acceleration after 25 miles per hour until coming to a complete stop
My Chevrolet 1997 4.3 s10 5 speed manual is accelerating on its own after i go past 25 mph and keeps rpm high at around 2.500 when coasting with clutch or in neutral or in gear until i come to a complete stop it goes back to normal. as soon as i reach 25mph it starts raising rpm on its own again. sometimes it surges up and down sometimes it just stays high until i stop

Is this the one that you were having very rich fuel trims and possible IAC problems?
Either way, I think the first thing I would check is for binding and proper routing of the throttle cable, cruise control cable or binding of the throttle body
yes! I just managed to find out why my trims were so negative. later i will write a reply to my topic for anyone that has the same issue i had. to summarize with the spider cover off i did an injector balance test and found out that i had a leak on the hose conected to the injector inside the spider but it only leaked when the injector were activated so i couldn't see it leak with just a simple pressure hold test. also some of my injectors were sticking open a little bit and a couple minutes pulsing them they got cleaned. its not perfect but its way better. now my MAF reading is lower. regarding my unintended acceleration i had a spare IAC valve and so i trew it in just out of curiosity and it fixed my problem but i dont understand why because the previous one i had seemed to open and close normally and so maybe i thought the command it was receiving from another sensor wasnt correct. from my understanding a magnetic motor either works or not... anyway maybe i got better electrical contact by manipulating the wires idk. i know i still have to get a new evap valve and possibly a map sensor. my map reads around 29 kpa at idle. some people say it should be 29 some say 50 so im confused a little. i still have negative trims but im happy to drive the car now because it has some room for adjustment. and when the engine gets full hot my trims and MAF get very close to perfect
