05 4Runner 4.0 engine was swapped out, 06 tundra engine was used, looks like oil pan was replaced (oil pump failed on original engine) car idles perfectly fine. will not rev over 2k rpm. Feels like it hits a rev limiter. Other shop started replacing parts throttle body, cam sensor, crank sensor, coils, plugs, vvt solenoids, maf, engine ecu, pretty much anything attached to the engine is new. No codes until you try and rev it over 2k then crank sensor code.
On the picture below yellow is cam blue is crank. Question what’s wrong with that signal? bent tooth on the crank ring? First pic is idle second is 2k. Have not tested anything on the car yet decided to hook up a scope first (scope is hooked up at ecu behind glove box, it’s just hanging there out in the open)
