2008 Honda CRV LX 2WD AT: AC System Question:
Question: What does the PCM need to cycle the AC compressor on/off? Current symptoms: System will not run I can engage the compressor by jumping the compressor contacts – (Voltage at relay coil) and system will put out cold air. All inside fan functions working. Many parts replaced and verified with good readings (voltage or continuity). AC pressure Switch replaced (good readings (x3) at connector). Missing voltage on pin 10 of the 28 pin connector of the HVAC controller
(Center panel with fan switches on it)
Checked continuity between pin 10 and the compressor overload switch (both sides). Fuses all testing OK. Suspect bad PCM – but not showing in error codes on Autozone OBD2 reader. Honda dealers have a very advanced tool that will likely show this error. Any thoughts before I write more checks?
