2007 mustang crank no start was created by Supersnake
2007 mustang 4.0 L, three the serpentine belt on Friday, replaced belt and idler pulley.  Started and ran fine, until the next day. Car cranked and started fine as usual, ran great, no skip, rough idle or other sign of any issues. Left home pulled out into road accelerated to 60 mph and was holding steady speed and engine rpms. About a mile down the road the enginejust suddenly shut off and will not start. Checked for DTC'S no codes present. I plan on doing some diagnostics today since I'm off work. I need a simple way to check fuel at fuel rail. I plan on starting there then check for spark, power at injector and injector pulse. I'm thinking it maybe crank position sensor /wiring damaged when engine threw serpentine belt.

A scanner and/or the tacometer may show whether rpm are present.

You could also try an external fuel source into the air intake to rule out fuel.

Did you discover why it threw the belt?
The crank pulley is known to come apart at the rubber, that very neatly fits all of your symptoms.
