2001 Expedition 4.6l 2wd w/ both P0171 and P0172 codes
I bought this Expedition about 6 months ago, with 287,000 miles, p0171 code only at that time, and a noisy "lifter" that quieted as oil warmed up. Interior and the body of this '01 is AMAZING for almost 300k miles and the A/C works, so thought it was not bad for $1400. Previous owner had replaced almost every valve and/or sensor possible but p0171 lives on. I replaced the fuel injectors and fuel filter, and poof, p0172 joined in with p0171!?! What could cause these other than intake leak, after having replaced MAF sensor and housing, egr, new pressure regulator.. those are ones I know of he's replaced. Oh, replaced the b1-s1 ,just looking at O2 readings on scanner (poke and hope technique) and replaced least responsive one.. I'm no mechanic, not rich, Ave trying to bandaid this truck coz not any other options, so any help would be appreciated!
