Hello my name is Adrian I recently bought one of them uscope to better my diagnostic skill so I tried it out on my 2012 ford fusion se 70k miles v6 3.0l I did the ignition coil and I’m honestly confused on what’s going on here   the trims are running a little rich the spark plugs were coated with black unburned fuel the oil had a fuel stench to it the maf reads close to 3 g/s the o2 sensor read good so I don’t know

Ford uses a multi-strike ignition system, at idle speeds. What you are seeing is the spark plug firing twice. If you raise the RPM's above 1100 RPM, or so, it will become a single-strike ignition event.

Thank you very much that makes sense I got a lot more to learn another thing how are the cylinders numbered like it’s a v6 the front 3 cylinders is that like 4 5 6 ? And the back ones 1 2 3 ?
