I scanned this truck the other day. I have a P0175 code stored in the computer even though the CEL has never come on. The light works because it illuminates when you turn the key on.
I warmed the truck up today and read live data. I had seen this code several months ago as well when I was trying out a scanner on it. My pre-cat O2 sensors read normal so I don't think they are causing the issue.
My short term fuel trims are staying close to 0 and the long term fuel trims on bank 2 are a -7%. I looked at freeze frame data and the code last set about 264 miles ago and LTFT on bank 2 was -13%. The last running cycle passed so it doesn't seem like it's a constant problem.
The truck has 123,000 miles on it and has the original injectors in it as far as I know. I bought the truck with 94,000 miles back in 2007.
My MAF reading was ranging from 6.6 to 7.02 gs/sec which the longer I let it idle, they stayed closer to the 6.6. 6.6 seems kind of low for a 7.4L engine but maybe not. I did clean the MAF sensor after seeing the code several months ago. What do you guys think could be causing this code? The truck seems to run fine and the tailpipe is totally clean.
