Hello all, I have a 2008 535xi that is overheating. The customer states that the waterpump and thermostat were recently changed at another shop with autozone parts. He took it to another shop and was told that it is overheating because the pump needs to be OEM. Could this be the the case? Any help is appreciated. Thank you!
My boss has one of those for a back up car. My former co worker put 3 water pumps over the course of his time at the shop. All were just from the parts store and performed well enough untill starting to leak. There is an engine off coolant bleed procedure I saw him do.
I try not to look to hard at that car, or I might have to work on it....
