hello guys , working on 2005 mitsubishi lancer, the problem with this car came to me from other shop , this car works with two coil 1-4 2-3 wasted spark . the coil has transistor inside , no spark in 2-3 , when i put the scope a saw the next ;
perfect trigger on 1-4 channel but 2-3 yellow channel is the problem
i think it has something to do with the ecu ¿what do you think guys ?

Definitely low amplitude on the 2-3 trigger circuit. I'm guessing someone has already tried moving the coils to see if the issue moves with it?
If the low amplitude stays on the 2-3 trigger, then I'd suggest rechecking for that same signal at the ECM itself. Same waveform? Computer time. You can also try doing a 'scratch test' on the 2-3 trigger circuit with the coil plugged in, just to make sure that the coil works correctly.
Not sure if you're a Premium member, but this three part series deals with a VERY similar situation on another Lancer. Lots of valuable theory and testing covered.
Also, here's a link to another video demonstrating the scratch test on a Nissan ignition coil. Different vehicle makes, but the coil design is nearly identical.
