Help us help you. By posting the year, make, model and engine near the beginning of your help request, followed by the symptoms (no start, high idle, misfire etc.) Along with any prevalent Diagnostic Trouble Codes, aka DTCs, other forum members will be able to help you get to a solution more quickly and easily!
Ok... long story short.....
computer says park interlock switch is the issue. Problem is don't know what exactly the problem is. done all kinds of electrical continuity tests no open or short circuits. we even sent it to Toyota, after 4 hours they said park interlock switch but NOT what about it was the problem. Cant get to switch directly because it buried in the transmission against the fire wall.
Any Ideas????? because our next step is to pull engine and that is a HUGE and time consuming deal.
