2010 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 4WD

In the DIC in dash scrolling to the front and rear tire pressures ,all show dashes '_ _'

Just purchased truck a couple months ago. Supposed to have new tires a year ago, that doesn't mean TPMS sensors are good though.
After disconnecting battery for hour will run for about twenty minutes then get the "Service Tire Pressure Monitor System" in the DIC.

Have an GM MDI 2 box,but see no place in the software to show any information for TPMS metrics in either Tech2Win or GDS2 for this year of truck.
The remote key fob does work fine,so don't think it is the actual RCDLR (receiver module) .

Don't have an actual TPMS scanner to see if signal is being sent by each sensor..so SOL there.
Purchased the handheld 'tpms relearn tool' for GM vehicles. When I put into relearn mode, doing the first tire never get the horn beep acknowledging successful learn for that wheel,so can go no further.
Is it possible all sensors would be dead.
No DTC's showing in the ECU.

TIA

Restart the TPMS relearn mode, then skip the left front tire and start at the right front tire. Keep going clockwise around the vehicle until you get to a sensor that works. When the truck honks back at you, you know that whatever sensor you activated was acknowledged by the truck.

Once you know how many sensors are dead, then you can replace them and complete the relearn. This system will never be happy without four working, valid sensors installed on the wheels.

Given the age of the truck, I'd consider replacing all four sensors as a preventative measure.

From service info:

Learn Mode Description

The tire pressure monitor (TPM) system uses the instrument panel cluster (IPC), body control module (BCM), remote control door lock receiver (RCDLR), keyless entry transmitter, 4 radio frequency transmitting pressure sensors, and the serial data circuit to perform the TPM learn mode functions. The sensor learn procedure must be performed after every tire rotation, RCDLR replacement, or sensor replacement. Once the learn mode has been enabled, each of the sensors unique identification codes can be learned into the RCDLR memory. When a sensor ID has been learned, the RCDLR sends a serial data message to the BCM to sound a horn chirp. This verifies the sensor has transmitted its ID and the RCDLR has received and learned it. The RCDLR must learn the sensor IDs in the proper sequence to determine correct sensor location. The first learned ID is assigned to the left front location, the second to right front, the third to right rear and the fourth to left rear. The turn signals will individually illuminate indicating which location is to be learned in the proper sequence.
