05 hyundai tucson battery drain was created by Ben
i have a 900milliamp draw ive isolated it to fuse 2 in under hood fuse box then looked up diagram on bbb (i dont have access to my mitchell here at this shop) i then disconnected the sensors till i got to the mass air flow sensor and the draw went away.... i disconencted ecu and checked for short to ground but had none i have power and ground at maf all the time and maf is warm to the touch . is the ecu causing this? im currently looking at the jojnt connector and it doesnt look like my diagram am i missing something does anyone have a better diagram?

This is for a 2.7, the white wire highlighted yellow makes it to the maf on another page. This is best I can do without wifi for now.

Looks like it shouldn't have power until the engine control relay is powered.

The relay control is highlighted in this one. The junction to the right with all the white wires is from the fuse box from the previous diagram, and up to the maf (I think it's off picture here)

I didn't have time to fix it yet but I found the problem it has no power to the main relay and to fix that someone jumpered from 1 joint connector to the 1 that the main relay powered up so that circuit was energized all the time I'll repair that main relay circuit and this will be fixed. thanks for the diagrams Noah that was what I needed bbb diagrams were in rough shape for this car and I could read that section of it

Nice find! Glad I could help.
I just picked up a used laptop with Mitchell on demand 5 and Alldata loaded into the hard drive up to 2014. It's been a real game changer not having to be tethered to a WiFi connection.
