2004 Vw Golf 2.0L manual shift
Had intermittent issues but now its a hard issue. P0343 acceleration cuts out at 3000 RPM. Sensor unplugged get 5v on signal wire and 12.4 on power plugged in i get 5v on signal and variable on power but basically around 0. Is that a bad sensor or a bad ground?
In Paul's book, chapter 10- signal circuit integrity testing, it says for circuit high trouble codes to:
1. Disconnect the suspected faulty sensor.
2. Jump the sensor signal to the sensor ground wire and re-read codes. If you now have a circuit low code, then the wiring is good and there is most likely a sensor problem.
