I have a 99 jeep cherokee. It's been running fine I turned it off and the next morning it would crank no start. I've read several forums. I've did a lot of testing. I do have 5.20 volts on my supply wire and my signal wire from the ground on my plug. When it is plugged in and I also have the same 5.20 volts on both when it's not even plugged in to the sensor. I disconnected the pcm and checked the C1 A8 pin and it is not coming out of the computer.
So do I have a short between my signal and supply wire or could it be something else?
By the way I have checked continuity from disconnected plug at pcm C1 A17 supply to C1 A8 signal and I can get it to alarm from A8 to A8 and also from A17 to A17 but not A17 to A8 or vise versa
Any info would help. Thanks in advance
