1996 c1500 5.7 5 speed manual, crank but no spark, new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, new ignition coil (ac delco) new ignition control module (ac delco), new crankshaft position sensor(ac delco), sent OG PCM out to be checked, same issue, bought a refurbished PCM programed to my VIN same issue, all fuses good, opened wiring harness as much as possible without removing it, all looks good..changed out the ignition switch.. bottom line I have zero spark coming from the ignition coil..all pink wires have 12 volts, all grounds checked with a power probe. I have continuity from the wires at the PCM plugs to the wires at the ignition control module, coil and crankshaft position sensor however, when trying to rest the signal wire from the Crankshaft postion sensor using a LED light, the light stays lit even when cranking, tested the signal wire and it has 12 volts constant. I'm thinking wiring harness issue somewhere along the line..I have a wiring harness from a junkyard truck, but it was an automatic and 4WD...I'm thinking on deleting the wires and plugs I don't need and in a way kinda of building my own harness..I have the pin out for my truck... thoughts????
