2005 subaru outback wagon 2.5 n/a was created by Fastrider750
just replaced injectors and seals/orings at200,000 miles after checking live data injector pulse width is the same for banks1&2 now at 3.33 ms at idle and increases smoothly with throttle application .does anyone know what ipw ms time at idle is set from the factory?am looking to maximize mpg without going too lean across the rpm range.this info is not out there unless ur a subaru tech and have access to ssm software. any input would be helpful. thanx Wrench.. ps stock injectors (tan body) are approx 200 cc i am not looking for more power only an increase in overall mpg.

Changing the injectors to a different flow rate will not result in better MPG.
The fuel trim will just increase to compensate for the lean condition this will create. If anything, you may end up with a low power under load condition.
