1st Question is when you put your OBD2 reader into the port and you get nothing I'm thinking "Is there a fuse that goes to that?"
Between 2 different kinds of readers I got nothing. 1 that runs off bluetooth and an app . The little blue light doesn't flash on the reader
and the app can't find and pair up with it . the other 1 plugs into the port and with or without the key on or car running doesn't do anything
BUT I did try both on another vehicle and they worked. So I don't know if its a fuse or relay or both. I broke the prongy deal on my multimeter
and a nail won't replace it.
NEVER WASH your car ! That's all I did and when I was done I hopped in the car went to turn the key and got a smooth turn and no response.
I turned the key to take it out and it was locked in , like it does when the battery is dead. Luckily I have plenty of things to poke the button and
get keys. After getting them out I put them in to try and start the car. My car started . Now I'm trying to drive down the street but my car was
driving like the emergency brake was on . I was pressing on the gas but barely moving and my check engine light is on. All this because I gave it a bath and powdered it's butt. I don't have a clue where to start until I can get a code. Is there anyone out there , again, that can tell me the name of the fuse to
look at or anything ? Please?

Fuse 13 under the hood, 20 amp, powers pin 16 of the DLC

Use a lightbulb/testlight/dc motor ...anything that runs off DC power and is under 20 amps - go across pin 16 and either 4 or 5 of the DLC and it should operate the load.

Well I tell you . This forum has never let me down . Thanks for the reply.
I'm surprised you were able to choose from all the copies that were published. I was so embarrassed and I tried to delete and have just one but it wouldnt let me.
But now that I have the codes I gotta look them up thats going to be fun. Thanks again

Maybe you can answer this. Now that I got the codes I need to check some fuses. Now I have a parasitic draw so that will alter any readings , correct? While I am checking the fuses is it ok to have the charger on at the same time?
