79 Dodge b200 4x4 - no spark was created by norcal.m.anderson.anderson
I have watched 1978 no spark video and voltage at coil looks normal 5v at + terminal and 1v at - terminal and within 1v of battery voltage with icu unplugged. When I try the pickup bypass test by shorting the male side of the distributor connector on the harness side with key in run position I get no spark. According to the flow chart I should focus on the icm. Is there further testing or should I just replace it?

Following the flow chart was a big help. I replaced the ICM with a spare I had and it fired right up. The flow chart will live in the van now.

I'm so sorry no one replied to you. You had this in the Welcome thread and I just moved it to the "post your repair questions here" thread.
I am glad the video and flowchart helped you! Thank you!
