Here’s some more pictures. The can bus signal was picking up the fuel pump waveform for some reason? I watch a video to do a math channel A-B. If that pattern looks normal your canbus signal probably ok. Anyways it wind up being the torque converter. The truck had no power in gear at times. It had no codes.

I seems that you are looking for problems where there are not any.

The car is a very "noisy" environment and a good scope will pick that up so you need to make adjustments and be able see past that.


If your CAN signals were not good your car would be in all kinds of trouble and you WOULD know about it.


I've seen Laptop Chargers, Battery Chargers, Poor Building Electrics cause noise that a scope will pick up.


Is there any issue with the car or are you just exploring ?
