Can anyone tell me which wires are used to communicate the bidirectional controls to activate and di activate components on my truck?
I also have one rear brake caliber not releasing completely all the time. I have disconnected the ABS electrical connector, but the problem still exists. Sometimes it releases fully but most of the time it will not. Caliber gets hot when driving at high speeds. The rear brakes are on the same brake line, two front brakes have their own lines. The other rear brake works fine. I am thinking caliber must be bad, but don’t know how to diagnose it for certain.

Quite confusing this !
What are you suspecting, a mechanically sticking calliper or are you suggesting that the ABS unit is forcing the calliper to "bite" when it should not ??
The bi Directional control of the solenoid valves within the ABS controller ill be governed by the software in the module to start with, then the scan tool you use - difficult one !!
When it is binding, how does the flexi hose to the calliper feel ?
Does opening the bleed nipple release it ?

I originally suspected ABS causing the caliber to lock up. Thats why I disconnected the abs electrically. Once I tracked the break lines I discovered the rear breaks are controlled together by both the master cylinder and the abs system. So it cant be a the master cylinder or the abs, otherwise both rear calipers would lock together. I suspect the one caliper, but do not know how to test it for sure. Maybe a faulty or clogged brake line? Maybe a bad caliper? Didnt want to buy a caliper without knowing for sure.
The bi directional controls issue is a separate issue. Having computer problems and want to disconnect all bi directional controls via disconnecting the wires the computer uses to control components. If you know how this can be done?

A "sticky" brake pad can lead you to believe you have a bad caliper.
See this lots on rear pad systems in rust prone areas, or on vehicles where customers put the pad retraction clips backwards after the o'l DIY brake job.
You can always pull the caliper off, use a spacer and gently extend the piston and manually retract it to check for binding and rigorously clean the pad carriers and slides and lube them accordingly.
I once had a customer come in with new calipers and hoses and said the front right caliper is seized.
Upon dissassembly we see new pads, new rotors, and the clips were backwards on the right side. Oh the little details!!!!!

I will add that once I have determined the caliper is hanging up, and it's not a pad fitment issue as Paul pointed out, I will generally push to change the brake hose with the caliper as they both can cause the caliper to remain applied.
It's not that much more money and the customer definitely won't come back smoking up the new brakes you just installed.
