I have a 2004 Cadillac SRX that is having class 2 data network problems (u1000). All but one module are communicating to some degree. Of the 25 modules, 8 are happy, the rest except for one, are giving the u1000 code but will communicate and give live data. I scoped the network and I do have a pretty good looking signal 0-7 volts EXCEPT the voltage isn't going ALL the way to ground. It is going down to 287mv which seems too high.

I have redone the ground and added a temporary second ground direct to battery which helped a little (still over 100mv) . Anyway no sure this was even the problem I removed the suspension control module (the one not communicating) from the network with no change. I believe it is the dash Intergration module which is a pain to access.

The customer declined further repairs and bought another car. I am the third shop it's been to including the dealer (which requested more time and they took the car back) although I won't charge them anything. But the question on if that network voltage is too high is killing me. Please educate me! Thank you!
