Hi:
I have a 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan with a flex fuel 3.2.
I started getting a p0302 code a little while after after I got it. I decided to replace all the plugs and coils due to age and mileage with Bosch coils and Ngk Iridium IX plugs. It was running rough at the start of the code being set.
I also replaced the upper intake and throttle body gasket ( also cleaned while I had it removed )
The bad part about this is the warranty that came with the car doesn’t cover any wearable parts and has 100.00 deductible and I can’t even request what brand of parts get used ( even if I am willing to pay the difference in price )
Had to replace the vehicle while I was traveling 18 hours from home. This was the cheapest way to fix that problem .
I’m really happy with the vehicle, so I had already planned on replacing the plugs and coils.
This seemed to fix the problem about 90 to 95 percent , it ran better.
I could watch the misfire still going on at idle but a lot less , it wasn’t enough to trip the money light. I could go over week before the light would come on.
I decided to go ahead and just replace all the injectors with Bosch ones.
I did verify that all my part are genuine before they were installed.
Seems to run smoother now.
I took it for a 40 minute test drive with a few five minute stops to watch for misfires on cylinder number two. When I checked each time it had zero.
How long would you wait to consider it fixed?
Sorry I know this was a little bit longer than I was expecting
Thanks
Steve

I'd be satisfied with this, honestly. This is about the kind of test drive I do at work after major mechanical repairs.
Under what conditions were the misfires counting up previously? Hot, cold? Idle, under load? If you wanted to be extra cautious, you could spend some more time under those conditions. Give the van every chance to act up.
