Chrysler 300 lightning bolt sporadic small rev bursts in idle/goes limp mode was created by HumbleRumbleOfA300
I have a Chrysler 300 S 5.7 2013 model vehicle. Recently the vehicle was hit in the passenger side fender and head light head on. Unfortunately both the power steering pump as well as the windshield Washer reservoir were destroyed since both are behind the headlight and in front of the wheel well on this model 300.Once I completed all the bodywork and straighten the camber and 12 steel bumper back to oem specs. The vehicle starting and has initial rpm at 1500 and slowly decreases, but once it drops below 1000 RPM, it then starts to have sporadic bursts in rpms. The lightning bolt symbol flickers in and out while having sporadic jumps in higher rpm, even if vehicle is in park. Car looks to be in limp mode only going 20 to 25 mph even with gas pushed to the floor. I’ve switched tested sensors checked a few ground connections as well as gone through nearly every fuse. Most recently, I even changed out the PCM and yet it still continues to do the sporadic, revving and idle and stay in limp-mode. I have a short an open circuit tracer device that I’m going to the Possibly navigate where the short maybe or if it’s a ground issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

You need to check the resistance of the fuel injectors. Also make sure you have 12 volts to the injectors that are in question while running on one of the wires.

The "lightning bolt" and the P0123 indicate that there is a problem with the throttle body (and) or accelerator pedal. Such a fault will put the car into limp mode, limiting throttle opening, rpm etc.
The code description literally indicates circuit high, you may want to verify these signal circuits both from the two app sensors ant the two tp sensors. (I see these problems more often with the throttle body than the app)
When using a graphing scan tool you may find what looks like a glitch on one of the app signals: a repeated and quite frequent drop out in the signal voltage. This is not a fault, it is some kind of circuit integrity check, do not get confused by that.
