The ignition stays on, and the engine is still running when the ignition is switched off. 187000 miles, so we changed the alternator since it could back feed through the 3-wire connector; problems are still there. It was also a battery drain, but that is gone. Switch the IG2 relay with the stage 3 fan relay. I am waiting for a response and the result of switching relays.

Brand new ignition switch still has the same problem, code B 2798 Communication Malfunction No.2 has to do some digging on the wiring diagram. Search the internet for the code; there are only Immobilizer problems and no start. This one has the problem starting but can't switch off

Pulled this fuse and the car stop ingnition is switch off, so the problem must be before the fuse that is the right answer right?

Yes,the problem is upstream of the fuse you pulled. Either the new ignition switch is bad or you have a short to power on this leg of the circuit.

Disconnect the "b" labeled wire at terminal 6 of the ignition switch and check for voltage. If there is voltage then this wire is shorted to power. If there is no voltage on the wire then check for voltage at terminal 6 of the switch with the ignition shut off and the wire still disconnected. If there is voltage then the switch is bad.

An expert is someone who knows each time more on each time less, until he finally knows absolutely everything about absolutely nothing.
