Hey everyone. Hopefully someone can help me with this one. I'm not to familiar with hybrid vehicles. So..
It's a 09 Tahoe hybrid. No crank no start. I have power and I can communicate with the car. I have 3 codes. P1b06 P1b05 and P1ae2. Quick background. It was at a shop. Customer claims. She heard a noise wanted to check it out. Mechanic replaced the lifters. After a long time of sitting because of COVID. The truck sat for about 8months @ at the shop B4 the lifters were replaced. When he finishes the lifters he drives the truck. He claimed that the oil pump was defective. He said he was showing 0psi. So he had to tow it. So he replaced the oil pump. And he put everything back together and he said that it was good to go. When she went to pick it up it wouldn't start. She got a new battery. And still nothing. And it's been sitting ever since.

If you are not trained in Hyrbrid or EV's vehicle maintenance, please bring this vehicle to a qualified technician.

"These codes may be experienced after a service part has been installed due to the High Voltage disconnect not being fully seated, the drive motor generator control module sight shield (PIM cover) not fully seated, or the 2 wire connector may be disconnected at the transmission 3-phase cable cover."-ALLDATA

These codes P1AE2-P1AE4, P1B05, or P1B06 need to be addressed first before diagnosing a No-Crank condition.

There is a TSB - #PIT4811C: Hybrid No Crank With Multiple Diagnostic Codes - (Dec 7, 2018)

If you are not trained DO NOT ATTEMPT to work on this vehicle.

Trust me I definitely don't want to get wrapped up in this truck to deeply. But she is a good customer and I just would like to give her some type of idea of what could be cause the no start. So I have 1 question. Will any of the codes cause the truck not to start. Or better question will any of the components that are listed with these codes cause it not to start.

YES.

These codes must be clear for this vehicle to start.
