Hey guys.
I have a 92 ford f250 with the 5.8l. This started as no fuel pressure at the rail but have great pressure at the pump and after the fuel filter. Replaced fuel pressure regulator. This fixed the no pressure at rail problem. Now have 42 psi at rail. Still not starting. If i use starting fluid she starts up. Checked injector and it has power and is pulsing. Haven't worked on many of these so no sure what to check now. Also pump is not priming. It just keeps running. I'm pretty sure its going to be a bad pcm but how can i test it before replacing? Thanks in advance for your help.

An expert is someone who knows each time more on each time less, until he finally knows absolutely everything about absolutely nothing.

If the engine keeps running once it starts on starter fluid you may have a bad throttle position sensor.

Has the truck been running and just quit or parked for a while? I've seen every injector stuck closed on vehicles that "ran when parked" :silly:

It's not a vehicle that gets Driven a lot . However it was running and the customer was driving it when it died on them And would not start back up.
My biggest concern is that the fuel pump continuously runs and doesn't Prime
