Help assembling intake manifold was created by Mobilemechanics
Switching all parts from old intake to new and nowhere in the disassembly or assembly list is the valve looking thing connected to two different parts of the manifold there is a spot for a harness to hook up but nothing was connected to it not sure what it is or if it's necessary to switch over any help is appreciated

The component does have a third port where another hose might have to be connected.... It resembles an EVAP purge solenoid, you may want to look at the related electrical and vacuum diagrams in service information.
