Key fob programing was created by prometheus1
2009 Chevrolet Uplander, I have a Launch X431 pro scanner. I'm having an issue trying to program two new key fobs for the vehicle. I've done everything the scanner has asked, with no results. There were codes for the ECM and the HVAC system, I cleared those codes, and still no results. The ECM and the EBCM were replaced 4 years ago.
Any help on how to proceed with this would be greatly appreciated.

That's surprising. GM fob programming is usually a slam dunk... Are you communicating with the Remote Control Door Lock Receiver? You're positive these are the correct fobs for this vehicle?
From service info for key fob programming:
Do you get the double chime after beginning the programming procedure?

And I have checked to see if the fobs are the correct ones. Been to numerous sites and found out that the numbers match.

Gotcha. If you're not hearing the chime as indicated by SI, then I'd argue that the RCDLR is not actually going into programming mode.
