Hello,

I have a 2007 1.6l Toyota Auris in at the moment with a running issue.

It struggle to starts but eventually will and it will staying running at high rpm's if you hold key round. When you let the key go it dies and it also dies when you try to make it idle.

It drove in with a misfire on Cyl 3, changed the coil and new set of plugs and all was good until the next day when I went to move it and the starting issue occurred.

Only faults in the system are for all coils primary/secondary circuits.

I've checked the feed and the ground and both good, I can't seem to get anything on the control even when it's running, I don't have access to a scope anymore so just using a incandescent tester.

When just cranking I'm getting nothing on the spark tester.

Any help much appreciated.

Luke.

Try spraying some brake clean in air cleaner housing while some one cranks the car and see if it stays running. Will tell you if its fuel related. Next check MAF sensor. Clear codes and see what comes back. If it has idle air control valve checn that. Create vacuum leak to see if its a air delivery problem
