Hi all,
I have a Mercedes 3.0 V6 diesel where the intake swirl flap motor has shorted internally. It had blown the fuse and during our diagnosis procedure there was smoke coming out of the terminal connector.
I want to check there hasn’t been any ecu damage so wondered if anyone could tell me what sort of reading there should be from the ecu with the ignition on?
I have a good 12v supply, a good ground and 1.2v from the ecu with ignition on. Obviously I can’t connect the motor and the part is on a 2 month back order here in the UK so can’t check to see if a new motor functions.
