I've got a 97 corolla and I've been dealing with a crank and no start issue I verified spark by removing a wire from the distributor and using a testlight the spark was very weak and the car does not start still so I look in the manual for diagnostic procedures
you can see my other post here on toyotanation

basically I'm testing the primary and secondary coils with a multimeter and I get a good reading from the primary but my secondary seems to be out of spec I'm guessing this is my problem too much resistance. or is this not enough resistance? the manual says I'm looking for 370 -550 ohms on the secondary
I had to move my multimeter to 20k ohms and I got a reading of 11.5 - 12.5

so did I do something wrong or did I properly diagnose a bad distributor?
