Hi all, I've got a 2012 discovery 4 that fluctuates RPM between 1700-1900 when cruising at around 80km/h. I have no DTC's and limited PIDs with the factory scan tool. I've carried out a smoke test and have no intake leaks. I also carried out a dynamic airpath test and 1 of the EGRs reported low flow during fast idle, however when checking the live data the EGRs don't appear to be sticking or sluggish and match the command position. Im leaning towards and EGR issue but am struggling to confirm this. And I don't want to be a parts ha. I'd love to hear your thoughts.

My first thought is a Torque Converter Lock-up issue.

You might be looking at two different issues.
As Chad posted the torque converter might going in and out of lock-up
The EGR would in my mind be carbon build up in the valve or passages rather than an actuation issue
