1. Speedometer stops working. 2. The fuel gauge drops. 3. AC stops working. was created by Mohsen
Hi,
I hope you and your family are well.
I need your help.
I have a problem in 2011 Jeep Liberty kk 3.7.
I have seen several vehicles with same problem.
When replacing the PCM and writing the vehicle's VIN in the new PCM, the next happen:
1. Speedometer stops working.
2. The fuel gauge drops.
3. AC stops working.
4. ABS and stability control indicators come on.
When connecting the scan tool and reading the trouble code from the ABS, the code is C2206 Vehicle configuration mismatch.
Although the same right VIN is programmed in the PCM and the ABS.
I appreciate your help.
I hope you and your family are well.

NOTE: This DTC will be active when a new module is installed until initialization is performed.
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, read and record the DTCs.
3. With the scan tool, read and record Freeze Frame information.
4. With the scan tool, erase the DTCs.
5. Perform ECU initialization on ABM. Refer to ABS VERIFICATION TEST See: A L L Diagnostic Trouble Codes ( DTC ) > Verification Tests > ABS Verification Test.
6. Cycle the ignition switch from off to on.
7. With the scan tool, read and record the DTCs.
Have you performed, or do you have a scan tool capable of performing the ABS module initialization?

@Mohsen
There was already a thread on this? If so, why did you create another one?

Thank you and to all of you guys who replied.
I have a scan tool Launch x431 pro 3.
I performed ABS initialization but it fails.
Note: although that the initialization fails, the VIN is identical in both ECU and ABS modules.
Sorry for making 2 threads with the same problem, it my mistake.

Is there any reason given why the initialization fails? Can you execute the procedure with a different scanner as sometimes they won´t do what thet promise...
