I’m getting a u0426:31 does the flowchart for the code seem to easy? It says if the code is active check if it’s in any other module including bcm replace bcm. But can not find anything on another code p1c4f.

I have the shifter in order. Checked powers grounds and data lines to it. All good. I think that’s why the key won’t come out of the ignition or crank. It isn’t showing the gear indicator on the cluster

Ended up looking online some more on the u0426-31 code and found something interesting. Found the fuse box wiring shorted together enough to dimly light a test light.

Fuse box fixed starting issue and all other issues. But trans has a cracked housing so it’s pouring fluid everywhere. Owner never said anything about it. Just it had a slight leak never could tell never ran until yesterday

You mean mam…

But anyway are you getting the u0426:31? Shifter not lighting up the gear indicator? Key stuck? I replaced a few things but the under hood fuse block was melted.

I’d flip it over and look see if you have any melting in the underhood fuse block. You know how to use test light?
