2007 Mazda 3 2.3 liter manual transmission.
Customer said he ran off the road when raining, hit a fence and ripped off the front bumper. Since then no power steering. I checked for codes but no comm with the module. There are 3 connectors at the module/pump. Main power and ground both good. I checked CAN wires from connector to DLC and they were good. Unplugged all modules on the network except EHPAS and checked for Comm and there was signals from both Comm wires. Anything else I can test before replacing the pump/module?
