Trying to chase down an electrical gremlin. Vehicle recently started resetting everything on the dashboard.. Occasionally with an engine stall. No codes. Nothing out of the ordinary under live data. Only thing was an ABS code for high voltage.
I am thinking ignition switch. Not sure if there is any way to diagnose. Hate throwing parts at problems.
Other thoughts are bad ground, bad connections, bad dash gauges. Still looking for a complete wiring diagram.
Any thoughts or suggestions will be gladly accepted.
Update
Still an elusive prob. Dash speedo stops and starts working whenever it feels like it.
The radio does the same in concert with the Speedo as seen on the touch screen. Sometimes the clock needs to be reset but not always.
Initiated the dash gauge self diagnostic and all was good. Not sure how the Speedo is connected to the radio/clock/touch screen. Battery and alt checked out. Volt and ohm tested all three speed sensors and they were in spec for volts and ohms.
Next up were the main grounds. Tested 5 and all were good.
