Went to an Infinity G37 sedan today to check a bad steering lock complaint . Verified the failure and showed the customer " how to bypass " the lock by depressing the tab and the engine would start. He had already brought a second hand lock and asked if I could program that unit to work in the car. Several of my scanners have a replace ESLC procedure so I tried it .. The first step in the fix is to erase the keys/fobs the next step was to set the ignition to the ON position but the ignition now stay at the LOCK position and the dash display no light no even the key light
My question is there set of instructions to install the ESLC?
What did I miss in my diagnostic flow?
