The owner keeps getting a p2135 has replaced throttle body 2 times. And app sensor once. The app is a used one he said the first throttle body was used 2nd a standard Brand. I found a corroded wire at the throttle body fixed it now it goes into reduced power intermittently. Before I found it it was a hard fault. Can a glitching app sensor cause a throttle body code? I have a screenshot of the glitch I caught.

If you look up the code on Mitchell it doesn’t say anything about the app being a possibility but I’m thinking that’s the issue but figured I’d ask

It’s been to 3 shops used pcm used throttle body used app. It was a hard fault when I first got it. Start it up it’d go into reduced power now it’s intermittent. Put original app back on been driving it all day so hopefully it’s fixed I’ll drive it til Saturday before I call if a fix

I got dragged over the coals on a Buick over app/top codes a few weeks back. The APP had failed and I correctly identified the problem, but the brand new APP didn't play nice and kept setting the same codes. 3 brand new pedals to be exact...
I finally went to the junkyard for a GM one, problem solved.

Would you have a spec on w.o.t. App and tps readings? Along with closed throttle

At this point I’m leaning towards pcm. I’m scoped at the pcm and found a table that shows the tps voltage specs open and closed throttle. Forgot the exact numbers. Have no drop outs and was in spec. Seems worse if you let it hot soak for a half hr or so

Checked terminal drag at pcm connector. And scope patter looks good when wrench light comes on and throws it in reduced power
