I checked the 6 wires off my ignition switch pin number 2 pnk wire has 12 volts and pin 3 yellow wire has 12 volts till I turn key to try to start then it drops to 0 volts pin 4 red/WHT battery 12 volts all the time pin 5 when key is in assory has 12 volts when turn to try to start drops to 2.99 volts. Pin 6 is 5 volt reff it stays between 4.00 and 5 volts when try to start.
My problem is when I try to start the car it just clicks one and on the starter my little red wire only has like 8 volts all the time when I try to crank to start could my ignition switch be bad ?

I suppose it could be, but I wouldn't jump right at it. There is no direct connection from the ignition switch to the starter itself.
The body control module supplies 5v to the ignition switch, which is toggled through a resistor by the ignition switch back to the BCM.
The crank request will be sent to the engine control module via the data network, and if all the safety and theft requirements are met, the ECM will ground the starter relay, through a fuse, to engage the starter.
Since you're already measuring at the starter, if you supply 12v from the battery, does the starter crank the engine?
