Hello all,
I have a 2008 Mazda CX-7 that triggers a P302, cylinder 2 misfire at various mileage and time intervals. When back probed voltage, signal and ground is good. When checked with the scope the coil Secondary shorts under load. The coil is then replaced. I've gone through this scenario 3 times in 2 years. The other cylinders are fine. The engine doesn't burn oil (1/2 quart in 3500 miles, non excessive).
The only thing I can think of is the driver failing intermittent if that's possible.
The spark plug shows normal burn wear and have less than 5000 miles on them.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
