I have been without access oxy-acetylene for too long and somethings a MIG isn't suitable so I bought an Oxy-Map gas mini porta pak. Useful but only a make-do substitute for the real thing.
Only used it for brazing so far but it was okay.

Best you can do over there without a bunch of BS and expense.

I mostly run oxy propane. Cheaper to run and way higher cutting and heating capacity on the portable rig. I only use acetylene for welding.

Will it cut?

No cutting, really small cylinders with welding nozzles.
For cutting these days I would want a plasma cutter but that needs a decent compressor.

I'm useless without Oxy/Acetylene but then again i see a good deal of rust. I like to blast sway bar links off with the torch without even trying to get them with the gun.
I used to pull radiators and rear ends with nothing but the cutting torch at the junk yard. Very important tool!
That looks like a nice little rig for heat to keep from breaking things though.

Agreed! An essential tool up here! I never thought about using one to get radiator hoses off though... seems a heck of a lot easier than dealing with those spring clamps

Yup, cut the spring clamp and the hose gets nice and mushy, lol
