Looks like a good idea. I've got a clear tackle box organizer that none of my leads go back into and a silverware drawer insert...

I like the thinking here. I'm ashamed to say how much of a cluster my diag drawer is...

I have got to the stage it is impossible to keep things organized I tried to break things down into task boxes and grab bags for for specific job types but that didn't work --- I will have to set a week aside.to do sort & re-mix. Trouble is I have so many seciality tools I forget what I have.

I'll give it a shot at some point. Could be handy to fix a bunch of things to each one based on what you might want to have on you right at the vehicle.
I was checking out those silicone trays for hardware/tools too. Working on my organization as you can see.

You got me thinking about my abominable hoard of diag stuff and how it's taking up multiple drawers of my tool box. We've had a but of a lull so I decided to do something about it.
While working on a Subaru Legacy sedan I noted the spare tire cover clutter catcher. So I went for a stroll through the junk yard and found one, and trimmed it to fit in my tool box.
In that same trunk was a door hanging shoe organizer.
I cut it between the pouches horizontally and have them holding my meter leads, amp clamps, scope accessories, etc..
(Thought I had a pic... I'll add one)
