I've got an eye for car parts. I'm the guy who can look at heap of sub frames and point out the 02 Camry left front lower control arm you need, or Chevy Impala front sway bar.
I noticed something funny about this 01 Civic today and asked my co workers if they noticed anything off.
Yes, it's crashed, but something is not quite right about this one.
Can you spot it?

That's a 96-00 civic radiator.
The 2001 has a radiator that is the length of the radiator support which the a/c condenser stacks in front of.
The 96 to 2000 civic has a small radiator and small a/c condenser that sit next to each other.
Whoever MacGyvered that bad boy in there didn't have a solution for the A/C, which was just left un hooked.
It must have worked, because they sure didn't wreck it that bad parking it in the driveway for the night!

I had one I wanted to do yesterday but couldn't figure out how to make it work.Tyler wrote: I thought it was strange that I could see the alternator with the radiator still installed...
More of these! This is a fantastic idea, man.
After 1999, Ford changed the diameter of the wheel studs on the full-size truck line. So a 99 f150 has 19mm lug nuts and a 2000 has 21mm lug nuts.
Obviously, you could put a rim from a 2000 on a 99 but not visa versa. And you run the risk of camming out the wheel or breaking studs. I had a 2002 f150 with a 98 rear end in it. I just couldn't figure out how to take relevant pictures without giving up the whole thing.
Glad you're interested, I'll keep working at some more.

I Just happen to replace a Radiator in one a couple of weeks ago, I remember it because I had to straighten the metal bumper with a torch and a large pry bar to get it to fit.

Lol! It's probably missing more than that! But no, that's not it
Nothing missing out of the ordinary on either car.

Sooooo, it's nothing to do with the Impalas?
I'm gonna feel silly when someone figures it out!

But the game isn't about what's missing, it's about what's different.
