Does anyone know any tricks on these things? I think I saw the labor time was like 11-14 hours! The manual wants you to pull the engine. It looks like a motor mount has a stud that goes through the control arm or something.

My wife's are starting to tear and I'd love to know a trick if there are any to shave off many of those hours!

You can flatrate these things like crazy. ;) The engine and trans mounts cover the front control arm mounting on both sides. The trick is to take the mounts loose, then use a screw jack to lift the engine/trans high enough to get the mounts out. Do one side at a time. Then, you can get at the front control arm bolts.

With a lift, screw jack and power tools, you can do both sides in a few hours. If the front control arm mounts have spacers, take note of their location before removal, and reinstall them on the new arms.
